I was busy thinking today as I was getting out of bed... quite late in fact, I slept in, it seems... that maybe this world financial crisis is not a crisis at all, after all. Maybe we are just going through a sort of storm (the hurricane type) that will eject us into space. What I mean to say is that our financial advisers are no longer savvy creatures that are able to give us their best wisdom simply because we need them, and the question here is: do we really need them? A tramp on Main St. would be a better adviser these days, don't you agree? Things are getting a little weird nowadays. Everything is turned upside down. Let's take a look: a black guy is about to be president of the United States, Russia is back to its USSR practices, the Vatican is no longer the Vatican (at least for us Catholics), The Muslims are turning into faithful Christians, CFK (not JFK, unfortunately), the Argentine president, is at the UN in New York telling George Bush how to weather the storm (bigger than 6 Ikes and Katrinas together) while she has litteraly drowned in her own self created hurricane in her country, Iran has asked all of us to start loving each other and declared that the US Empire is over. That's for me more rare to find than a singularity for a bunch of cosmologists.

I was finishing my trip on the train this morning and you know what.. I had forgotten to get a ticket. Strange because I automatically buy a ticket the minute I arrive at the station every morning when I go to work. Of course... I remember... there was a huge line to get the tickets and the train was coming into the station, so I ran to catch it... that was what happened. Luckily, when I arrived at the central station there were NO GIRKS to be seen.. amazing... so, happily I passed the machines without any worries whatsoever. Then it occured to me: why not create a blog called NO GIRKS ! Yeah.. maybe just a stupid name but then... you know... you never know... So what I intend with this blog is to have some fun of my own and if anyone likes it or not just drop me a line or two and we'll see what we can do about your comments. But please... no rash comments, the humor I intend to transpire here is very simple and clean... you get the idea? Fine... let's get on with it. Ciao !
